โดยเปรียบเทียบเครื่องจักร 5 แกน ซึ่งกำลังเป็นที่นิยมในประเทศไทยในช่วงไม่กี่ปีที่ผ่านมา ด้วยเครื่องจักร 3 แกน ซึ่งในงานที่ตัดแบบ 3 แกน ทูลที่มี Diameter ขนาดเล็กไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ เนื่องจากข้อจำกัดของ "L/D” ดังนั้นเราจึงใช้ D6R3 และ D6R1 แต่เพราะรูปร่างของชิ้นงาน คือ R1 เราจึงใช้ D6R1 ในมุมสำหรับ finishing.

ซึ่งถ้าหากมี 5 แกน การตัดสามารถทำได้ด้วยการจับทูลที่สั้น และตรงตามขนาดของมุมของชิ้นงานได้

นอกจากนี้ CAM-TOOL ยังสามารถทำ data ของทั้ง 3 แกน และ 5 แกน ในชิ้นงานเดียวกันได้

We successfully launched METALEX 2022 with many people. This is the sample that is compared 5-axis machining, which is becoming popular in Thailand in recent years, with 3-axis machining. In 3-axis machining, smalldiameter tools cannot be used due to “L/D”, thus D6R3 and D6R1 (because of the minimum shape R1) are used in the corners for the finishing process. If 5-axis is available, cutting is possible with the short protruding length according to the minimum R of the shape. In addition, it is possible to create 5-axis data in the same way as creating 3-axis data with CAM-TOOL.
